Born in New York and raised upstate, Ive lived all over, including the edge of the Grand Canyon, where I waited tables after college. A graduate of Vassar College, where I studied Film and English, most recently I was enrolled in a doctoral program in Literature at Duke University. I left after receiving my M.A. because I wanted to pursue more creative avenues and make films that explored social and political issues through the lens of deeply human experiences.
