Rafik and his family migrated from Egypt to Tampa Bay Florida in the late 90’s. Born in Cairo, Egypt and growing up as a Coptic Orthodox Christian. Rafik was raised the majority of his life in United States since he was 7 years old. When he was a kid, he would watch movies and mimic actor’s role and their voices with dialogue. He began loving film and television in his early 20’s; by the time of his late 20’s, he shifted his career direction and became a creative film writer. While his career keeps moving forward, he found other interests of being an editor and a producer. As he is currently working on multiple projects in the future, Rafik has written two short films; “Greed” and “Brothers Love”. Rafik has his Associate Arts degree from Saint Petersburg College shortly after he began coming alive in the industry as he collaborated on major projects such as the Nationwide Pepsi Commercial, Speed of Time, and New Balance Commercial.
