I studied communication design at Parsons University, NY, to partake the advent of the .com era. As my class was graduating, startups began to crumble as soon as they opened doors. Entrepreneurs took a hard reality check when they discovered a .com tag to your brand doesn't replace a business plan. Naturally the great demand for graphic designers also waned. Living in my parents' basement I seized the opportunity to explore animation. First it was lighting principles, After Effects, and eventually 3D modeling and render techniques. Many long nights later, I've acquired the skill set and confidence to leverage these tools to a full blown career. Today the learning never stops, as I forge on, learning through online courses at YouTube University YouTube tutorial videos and animator forums.
