About me

Justine Raczkiewicz is an award-winning filmmaker, and has worked as a producer for the last 13 years, beginning at The Weinstein Company, and then alongside French horror director Alexandre Aja on PIRANHA 3D. Together they produced 6 features which played in the official selection at the Cannes and Toronto film festivals, including: MANIAC, HORNS, THE PYRAMID, THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR, and THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX for companies such as FOX International, Miramax, Mandalay, Red Granite, IFC Films among others. In 2015, Justine created her own production company, Building J, under which she directs music videos and is developing feature films. In 2017, she won the "BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR" award at the Hollyshorts Film Festival for her short WASTE, which played at over 25 film festivals across the world, including Brooklyn Film Festival, Newport Beach, Atlanta, as well as in Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, Brussels and more.
