Jamaleddin Pirkhodri is an Iranian film director, animation director, producer, and visual storyteller with nearly three decades of professional experience in animation and cinematic production. He holds a B.A. in Painting and an M.A. in Animation Directing from the University of Art (Cinema & Theatre Faculty), Tehran. Since 1996, he has directed, produced, and supervised animated films, television series, and educational productions using traditional animation, digital 2D, and CGI techniques. His work has been presented at international events including the Chicago International Children's Film Festival and the Zlín Film Festival. He also served as a Selection Committee Member of the International Animation Festival of Kanoon. His current work focuses on AI-assisted filmmaking, combining traditional directing practices with emerging technologies to create visually distinctive and culturally rooted cinematic experiences.
