Edward Osei-Gyimah is an award-winning filmmaker originally from London, England, now based in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University Of Southern Californias School Of The Cinematic Arts. 2009 saw the release of Edwards film Kwame. The film was a critical success winning awards at numerous festivals around the United States and culminating in Edward receiving an award for outstanding achievement in direction from the Directors Guild Of America. Edward was co-writer and editor on The Girls In The Band,a feature documentary that detailed the contributions that female instrumentalists made to Jazz, which was awarded Best Documentary at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival. He also served as producer/editor on the feature documentary, Finding God In The City of Angels, which looked at diverse religious practices in Los Angeles; the film went on to win the audience award at the 2010 Urban World Film Festival. Currently Edward is in production on his feature documentary
