Dakoit is a Creative Production Studio & Post House based in Brooklyn — a crew of directors, producers, editors, cinematographers, and post production specialists who know how to move fast, stay sharp, and make work that matters. We’re small enough to be nimble but built for scale — capable of handling big budgets, big brands, and complex campaigns without losing our edge. The name comes from the Hindi word for ‘bandit’ — figures both feared and free. That spirit defines how we work. We’re filmmakers who thrive on curiosity, collaboration, and craft, always searching for new ways to uncover emotional truth. To us, being a Dakoit means stealing the magical from the ordinary and shaping it into something unforgettable. It’s about staying fearless, collaborative, and just a little unexpected in everything we make.
