- Author Bio Being a published writer, poet, essayist, playwright and novelist, Chimezie Benedict Ihekuna, also known as Mr Ben, had lived the good, ugly and bad parts of life but still alive, indeed. This man's artistic journey is a story of survival, and his determination and persistence to be heard shines through his work like a lamp in the darkest cave. As a child, Mr Ben always imagined he would, one day, become a published writer, poet, essayist, playwright, novelist and narrator. Today, he is published poet, essayist, playwright, novelist and memoirist. His books have been adapted to screenplays and short script collections. One Man's Deep Words, one of his publications, is being worked on as a movie project: currently at its post-production phase. A Taste Of Poison and The Conflict, his audio drama podcasts, were aired at the Radio Drama Festival in Canterbury, UK (2023).
