Threadwood is a boutique animation studio in upstate New York, run by Emmy-winning animation pros Alexis Deprey and Scott DaRos. With a passion for unique, handmade design, Threadwood brings clay, stop-motion, and 2D animation projects to life. Since founding Threadwood, they've teamed up with top brands like Nickelodeon, LEGO, WWE, Cricket, SyFy, BUCK Design, and Totino's. With over 20 years of combined experience, Alexis and Scott blend their illustration and animation backgrounds to create engaging stories with bold composition, rich color, and clear visuals. Independently, they’ve worked on everything from Robot Chicken and SuperMansion to SpongeBob SquarePants and the stop-motion Pinocchio feature. Their creative journey is all about making magic through animation, one frame at a time!
