About me

Statement My sound and video work occupies the spaces between narrative film, music video and visual art. I am interested in exploring the digital and virtual self and the role technology plays in the creation and manipulation of alternate realities. Inspired by science fiction films, synthesizer music and cinematic sound design, my projects employ composed music, field recordings, original video content, stock and found footage, film-style post-production and still photography. I have a profound interest in music theory and composition as well as in the underlying philosophy of physics. Ideas of space, time, randomness and parallel universes are common musical and visual themes in my work. Bio I am a Brooklyn based sound and video artist. Currently I study music theory, composition and history at Hunter College in New York City while preparing my applications for a graduate study in new media arts. My film Chris and the Blackout was a finalist at the CUNY film festival in March of 201
