Brendan's story begins in the tiny coal mining town of Craig, CO. A son of a 3rd grade teacher and a high school librarian, Brendan was as far removed from Hollywood as you can possibly be. Nevertheless, he caught the filmmaking bug from a very young age and it wasn’t long before he became infamous throughout the town (and the local police department) as ‘that weird kid who’s always out making movies’. His passion led him to film school at Montana State University in Bozeman, where he graduated with honors. In 2009 he moved sight unseen to LA. Since then he has built a particularly successful career as a commercial director, creating over 150 spots, helming campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world including Allstate, Experian, Prudential, Budweiser, NBC, and Pepsi. When he’s not obsessing over movies, Brendan can be found with his wife, dog, and 3 year old son hiking, camping, skiing, playing punk-rock on the drums, or acquiescing to his lifelong sandwich addiction.
