We’re excited to announce the new Revisions Phase – coming to a Project Timeline near you!
Revisions have always been an important step to delivering amazing Videos on Tongal, which is why we’re turning this step into an official Phase on the Project Timeline. Following each Video Phase, the Revisions Phase will begin as soon as winning Videos and Wildcards, if any, are selected by the Sponsor.
When filmmakers deliver their first cut of a winning Video, Sponsors are entitled to a reasonable number of revisions. This ensures that the content is on-brand and meets the Sponsor’s goals and expectations. This new Phase will help filmmakers better manage their time as they incorporate Sponsor feedback and fine-tune their Videos. It will also give community members a concrete sense of when the Video Phase has ended and when final revisions have begun.
Here’s a quick overview of how the Revisions Phase will work:
When first cuts are delivered at the end of each Video Phase, the project moves into Evaluation. Sponsors will review the submitted Videos, select any Wildcard Winners, if applicable, and consolidate their feedback. At this point the project will enter the Revisions Phase and filmmakers can make their edits based on the Sponsor feedback. Once all Videos are finalized, the Sponsor will rank the winners and we will close the project.
The Revisions Phase is also a great opportunity for filmmakers to stand out by showcasing their professional client-facing skills and their ability to execute and perform quick turnarounds on notes given to them by Sponsors.
We’re excited to be launching this new Tongal Phase with you. If you have any questions or feedback about this new Phase, please reach out to us at info@tongal.com.
Thanks and happy Tongaling!
