At Tongal, we’re continually upleveling our technology in order to enhance our platform and streamline the creative process. A big part of Tongal’s role is facilitating collaboration between you, our talented community, and the badass networks, brands and studios we work with. As we join forces to create beautiful, original and far-out videos, we want to clear the path for that creative flow and enable you to do your best work.
A big part of this is the revisions process. As you know, when a filmmaker turns in videos on Tongal, there is a phase in which revisions are done -- putting the final touches on the videos and making sure that we cross our t’s and dot our lower case j’s. Our new Revisions tool will provide a framework wherein all video revisions are managed directly through our website. No emails to your Tongal Producer required (you’re welcome!).
We’ve already rolled out the beta version of this feature and have run several videos through the system so far. And, we’re receiving great feedback that it’s helping filmmakers and producers get from .roughcutV_1 to .videoFINAL as quickly as possible.
Keep your eyes peeled -- moving forward, this system will be used on most projects. The Revisions feature is pretty self-explanatory, but we’ve created a user guide to walk you through the process. We’re over the moon for the note timestamp functionality, which allows notes to be timestamped to a specific point in a video (say what!?). With Revisions, you’ll now see all notes and feedback on your video all in the same place.
