Introducing Optimized Tongal Portfolios

Nov 10, 2022

Tongal exists to connect you to opportunities to do what you love, which is why we're excited to roll out our new Creator Portfolio layout and functionality, making it easier than ever for you to share your talents with the brands, entertainment companies and global network of Creators on the Tongal platform.

Starting today, all Portfolios will automatically switch over from the legacy view. Moving forward, you can access and edit your Portfolio by hovering over your avatar and choosing "Portfolio," or by going to tongal.com/portfolio. While you're at it, if there's anything you want to transfer from your legacy Portfolio, you can access it here through the end of this year. Your legacy Portfolio will also be available to anyone evaluating active Pitches - don't worry we've got you covered!

Once filled out, your new Portfolio will be optimized for search on Tongal by skillset. It will also be linked to any Pitches you submit on the platform, helping to showcase just how talented you are - but we already know that! Follow these steps to get started and optimize your Portfolio for success on Tongal and beyond:

1. Introduce Yourself

Start by updating your profile with your photo, bio, location, social handles and more.

Chase A Cloud: We're a development and pre-production studio focused on 2D animation and live-action storytelling. We craft stories and experiences first and videos second.

Andy Kelemen is a commercial director with a specialty in making weird stuff. His work often features over-the-top visuals and he creates ads that focus on real people, sometimes in the mockumentary style. He's done large and small-scale work for Disney, American Express, Nat Geo WILD, Chevrolet, Carnival Cruise Lines, Durex, and Caesars Palace, among others. Over the past 10 years, his work has appeared in Ad Age, Creativity, and he's the recipient of five Emmy awards. He calls the kickass city of Pittsburgh, PA home, but works around the country. He also has a strong passion for roller coasters, refinishing antiques, and haunted houses – not that those things are relevant here. I wrote this in the third person for some reason.

Bethany Borg: I'm a 2D animator, motion designer and full-time doodler. A lover of all things weird, quirky and on four paws. Running on coffee and good vibes.

2. Add Your Skills

Next, choose the skills for which you want to be discoverable on Tongal and add them to your Portfolio.
