Tongal was founded in 2008 by myself, Rob Salvatore, and Mark Burrell. Tongal is, and has always been, on a mission to democratize the creative economy and bring the world’s creative work to the world’s creative talent. A studio on demand powered by a global creative community, Tongal connects entertainment companies and brands with up-and-coming talent to develop video content via its proprietary tech platform. Here's just a small sampling of the work we've done so far, and if you're curious about how creative work gets done on our platform, here's an overview of the Tongal creative process.

Why are we so passionate about our model? Historically, it has been so ridiculously expensive to create video content because conventional wisdom says that only a handful of people are capable of doing this. We think that's a load of BS. There's a billion people connected over the internet and millions of them create video content for free. We're just looking to find a way to put them to work and get them paid.
We hope you'll join us in this mission.
We have created a handful of feature-length films with our partners so far (with more coming soon, fingers crossed). Check out this blog post about a feature doc that was #MadeOnTongal and released in 2017: https://tongal.com/blog/articles/mole-man-premieres-at-doc-nyc
