Valentine’s Day is a manufactured holiday cooked up by marketers to sell you flowers and chocolates and overpriced cards. We hear ya! But, it’s also a great excuse to sit down with your favorite romantic comedy for the umpteenth time - or fall in love with a new one (they’re making a comeback, didn’t you know?).

Even if rom-coms aren’t your thing, a well-timed love song in a movie can surely set the mood and hit you in the feels. With that in mind, we surveyed the Tongal Team to get their take on the most romantic, most memorable, and most heartbreaking love songs from movies (that don’t suck).

You’ll have to keep in mind that a love song, much like beauty, is in the eye and heart of the beholder. We can’t guarantee that every song on this list will be your jam, but with our eclectic tastes as your guide, there’s bound to be a song here that will make you feel something.
