Medical and other basic needs could be readily available in the developing world by increasing 3D printing potential in these fields.

Basic medical equipment and aids that can be reproduced with 3D printing could be produced on the spot, taking out the transportation and distribution cost. With scarce regulation in the areas where this equipment will be used companies would be compelled to finance and test their new inventions.
