neil joined barneys new york as svp of advertising and marketing and subsequently became worldwide image director of esprit de corps, replacing one of the company’s founders, doug tompkins. later he was appointed svp of advertising and creative services at calvin klein. his campaigns using marky mark and kate moss were instrumental in transforming the face of fashion advertising. in 2000, neil opened kraftworks, and has continued to focus on style-oriented industries creating advertising and promotional campaigns for such clients as the aldo group, anne klein, calvin klein, instyle magazine, smartwater, voss water and wonderbra.
