The Memory of Color
Everyone feels color differently. Yellow gives you a certain feeling because growing up your dad built a yellow clubhouse in your backyard. It feels calming to me because my grandmother's house was painted a vibrant yellow. Blending Super 8 and digital footage, both old and to-be-shot, my concept shows the linearity of why we choose a particular color [using the Affinity Fan Deck] - because it has a special feeling, connection or meaning to us based off memory or experience.
