A mockumentary following the heroes as they chase down the villains who've escaped Hero Factory. It's filmed with a COPS-style POV. The heroes talk to the camera as they handcuff the villains (who all have their faces blurred).

A graphic novel approach to the concept. Frozen snapshots in real life captured by a camera flying through them. Special effects like fire and smoke heighten the graphic novel feel of the frames and bring the camera's movement to life. Link to my reel is attached. Also a rough cut of a music video I recently directed and a spot that will air on MTV this month. Additional links are to videos where I've been camera department. (Swedish House Mafia, Kid Cudi, MGMT, Jared Evan).

One hero fights a villain in an escalating duel of household items, from pencil to coffee, to more dangerous items before a giant foot of a 7 yr old boy steps in. Worried that his parents will be upset with the mess, he orders the two toys to clean up! I'm new to Tongal, but have Canon 7D, FCP, lighting, a HF expert (son), experience as an award-winning filmmaker & commercial producer. I have stop motion & green screen exp. If chosen, my seed $ will go to pro voice-overs & music. See test clip.

A fun and hilarious spoof of COPS. Evo and Toxic Reapa chase each other through the real world, interacting with full-size people who think nothing of these tiny Lego people. The action is intercut with interviews from our hero as he explains the stress of his job and we even have an interview with Toxic Reapa after he's been captured.

A 30 second stop-motion film detailing what the heroes do on their day off, with all backgrounds and most props made from LEGO bricks. This will be done in 3 to 8 second clips showing how various heroes relax, with occasional interruptions by villains. The vignettes include a barbecue, where Black Phantom steals some food, Fishing where Surge catches Jawblade, as well as heroes exercising, playing Frisbee and having a lovely tea-party. In the end, they have a campfire on the beach.

I included a script for each Hero vs Villain matchup included in the brief. I can do all or just one or two, or a quick cut montage trailer type thing with all of them if the length is a problem. The photo samples I sent in for my other pitch would still apply but it would be treated in a slightly more caught on video style, kind of like a stop-motion version of what they did with the cameras on the animated film Surf's up (which is shot with faux hand held camera like a documentary).

I'd animate in a unique style, turning scanned images of the toys into fully posable 2D characters. See my reel at :49 & 1:29 for similar examples. I'd intercut scenes of villains being caught & comedic sit-down interviews w/ heroes, as they explain that sometimes to cuff & capture a maniacal robot super villain, you need to be creative. Villains will also be interviewed, like Jawblade confessing how he always falls for the same "Free Super Magma Blade Inside This Box!-- Great For Evil!" trick.
