A 6-year old boy wakes up & turns on a light, triggering a stereo to play music which triggers a series of chain reactions of 1,000 Hot Wheel cars using a variety of techniques: dominoes, pendulums, wall tracks, etc. This OK-GO, Rube Goldberg-inspired machine finishes by squeezing toothpaste onto a toothbrush as he enters the bathroom. I'm uniquely qualified for this project: I teach a class where my students make chain reactions, I'm an accomplished cinematographer & an excellent editor.

It's bedtime: but a young boy hides in a pile of blankets playing video games on a small TV, avoiding his mother. He tries to stifle a sneeze but ACHOO! The mother hears the noise so the boy springs into action, putting a Hot Wheel onto a track sticking out the window. The car careens as it makes its way along a winding track around the house. The boy hides as the mother approaches. The car launches right into the doorbell. As the mother goes to the door, the boy slips into his room undetected.

Kid wakes up, turns off his alarm, the back of the clock opens and a Hot Wheel car is released onto a Wall Track which lines the kid's room. The car races around helping the kid get ready for school. It jumps onto a tube of toothpaste, the kid brushes his teeth. It opens his closet door, the kid gets dressed. It pushes toast into a toaster, the kid eats breakfast. The kid is ready for school, the Hot Wheel goes off a jump lands in his hand and the kid walks out accompanied by mom to the bus.
