For some reason its not letting me post my video to the contest ? It keeps saying that the video is being sent to the server and I wanted to know if they got it ? I'm new to this sight, but I'm getting pretty nervous with 10 hours left. Does anybody know what that means ?

If it says the video is being sent to the server it means that the video is in the process of uploading to the site. Depending on your internet connection and the size of your file this can take a a while (up to 2 hours). If the issue persists try switching browsers (to either Chrome or Safari)

NASA Flickr includes photographs with identifiable people. Can we use these without attribution or release forms because NASA is not making a commercial use of our videos, or are those photographs NASA linked us to actually off-limits for usual copyright reasons? Thanks.

FYI, more people watched the Venus Transit on NASA webpages than the last Space Shuttle mission. It was a world-wide happening and NASA wants you guys to show and tell the story!

Looking through the provided links, all the archived videos I've found appear to be 854x480. Is that the highest resolution they have? If that's the case, the footage in the final 1080p project will be pixelated. It's doable, but HD footage would be preferred.

Can our original footage be anything we want to be able to tell the story, or does it have to be of the sun.
If it has to be of the sun, can we just use NASA footage, because where I am, it's not exactly the clearest of days, and I unfortunately can't see the sun...

Can we use other nasa footage that isn't specifically linked to here. I'm pretty sure I've read a few places that most of the raw video files nasa puts out are under public domain, plus - since they are sponsoring this contest??
