If “10 and 2” and “the two second rule” aren’t just vague memories of Driver’s Ed class, chances are you’re a good driver. Thanks to Allstate, good drivers can now save up to 30% on their car insurance by enrolling in an innovative new program called Drive WiseSM.

 

Drive WiseSM was designed by Allstate to help safe drivers save money on auto insurance and better understand aspects of their driving that contribute to overall safety on the road. When a driver enrolls in the program, they receive a small device in the mail that easily plugs in to their car’s dashboard (OBDII port). The device gathers information about how the vehicle is driven and creates an online driver profile. Later, the driver can check to see how they’re driving and track their progress toward the discount they’ll earn at the next policy renewal. While there is a $10 technology fee for the device, it’s important to note that under this program, Allstate does not surcharge for higher risk levels, meaning that Drive WiseSM should only help customers save money!

 

 

OFFICIAL RULES

 

Create a 60-second promotional video for the Drive WiseSM Landing Page. The videos should accomplish four things:


1. Introduce the Drive WiseSM program in an engaging way.


2. Encourage safe drivers to participate in the program.


3. Demonstrate the benefits of Drive WiseSM.


4. Convey how easy the process is for customers: Sign Up, Plug In, Drive, and Track Your Savings.

To receive a deactivate Drive WiseSM device for use in your Video, please email samples@tongal.com with "Drive Wise" in the subject line, your name, mailing address and a link to your Tongal profile page.

 

1. Videos MUST not exceed 60 seconds in length. Preferred format is HD 720p 16x9. Acceptable file formats are .mov, .avi, .mp4, .wmv. Acceptable codecs are H.264 (MP4), MPEG-4, H.263, MPGV, WMV, DivX.

 

2. All work must be your own and free of any copyrighted material.

 

3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Allstate.

 

4. Submissions must not portray Allstate in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Allstate.

 

5. Videos must be in the English language or subtitled.

 

6. Limit 3 submission(s) per member, per phase.

 

7. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.

 

8. Minimum twenty (20) Videos or the contest will repost for seven (7) days.
