Pitch: Mixed For Your Taste
The basic narrative for the three spots will craft the message that Benjamin Moore paint is skillfully mixed for your personal taste. While the general setting and music will be similar in all three, each spot will have its own "star": The Mixologist, BM Selection, and Performance. In addition, the final shots will put the paint in a practical setting just before the bumper; transforming us out of the hip nightclub and into the customer's home when he/she receives the drink.

Character: THE PROESSIONAL MIXOLOGIST
Benjamin Moore is as careful mixing a can of paint as he is at meticulously blending a perfect martini. Visiting a clients house, Benjamin always brings a small oak cocktail bar, but instead of stirring up cocktails, his bottles are filled with basic-color paints that he pours into his mixologist shaker and blends to match the client's precise color. When the client's wall is painted, Benjamin paints his signature discreetly on the wall.

 

Pitch: The Mixologist and His Domain
1st spot: young couple leaves their drab apt and heads to the hip paint bar where the PM resides, who is ready to offer them a solution to their paint problem. 2nd spot: Even under pressure, the PM is ready with a unique paint choice, no matter how complex the customer's needs are. 3rd spot: PM pays a house call to the couple from spot #1, only to find a rival is already there. They have a "mix-off," which ends with PM completely redoing their apartment, leaving the rival with paint on his face.

We'd like to create 3 spots based on Hue Chromagnum. We're excited to completely camouflage him to the walls. We believe this effect is very important when creating these videos. We've actually used this effect in one of our previous Tongal videos for Duck Tape. The budget would go towards buying the paint, creating the costumes to perfectly match the walls, paying actors, and buying props for the videos. We want people to be totally shocked when Hue calmly appears and saves the day.

In a stylish house with many colors, HC poses with six eccentric family members while he blends into the wall. Each family members poses separately with HC against six different rooms that are cyan, magenta, blue, red, yellow and green. Each shot contains a picture frame with the family member from the previous colored room. Finally the family pose together against a white wall with all the colored family pictures. HC has now evolved to white and smiles from the wall. Animation or live action.
