We see a microscopic world of color on a swatch of a Benjamin Moore Affinity fan deck. The color is beautiful, but the same everywhere. So a hand (giant to the tiny inhabitants of Affinity World) slides another swatch behind the first one- adding another color to the miniature universe. In this way, we see the beauty and harmony of Benjamin Moore colors working together. I will create this miniature universe using the technique of Kirigami-- intricately cut folded paper structures.

My idea takes the tiny, harmonious world idea and asks how did all these great colors meet one another. Using a format similar to Match.com and other dating website commercials, we will show a world full of perfectly matched relationships -- Elkhorn AF-105 and Luxe AF-580, Lucerne AF-530 and Pomegranate AF-295. After showing how these exceptional colors were matched, we will reveal the remarkably compatible world that is the Affinity deck.

Funny. A guy & his friend panic- his wife has tasked them with picking colors before her return. He's filled the wall with Affinity swatches and his tear-filled/over-the-top monologue sells them: "HOW DO I PICK WHEN EVERY COLOR GOES TOGETHER?! THE BLUES GOES WITH THE GREENS & THE YELLOWS & THE ORANGES & THEY ALL LOOK PERFECT..." He bangs his head and all but 3 colors fall. Just as his beautiful wife enters. "They're PERFECT!" she says. Our hero notices the colors and bursts into a relieved grin
