So what are your production set-ups like?

So, theoretically, if a pitch or concept I have created is selected and I have to create a video, I'm just wondering what's the best way to approach making the video. Are you guys working with equipment you own or borrowed or do you rent it using the budget money? What kind of cameras do you guys use? I know Canon 5d/7ds are very popular in general nowadays? And I'm assuming Final Cut Studio (the one thing I actually have) for editing? Are the non-Tongal people you are working with (if any at all) predominantly people you know and have worked with before or do you hire outside people? And as far as prize money, hopefully not too personal, does everyone who worked on the project get a piece of the pie. Thanks, Steph

we use a cannon T2i with some very basic equipment. E.G. tripod, homemade dolly, and a steady cam attachment. Very low budget. But my advice is to use any money you make and put it back into the films if you are serious about production.and we like to give gift card for people that participate.
