Overview
Ever get into a heated battle with one of your friends over who is better at Madden, or Guitar Hero, or Call of Duty? Want to tell your friend to shut up, put their money where their mouth is...and just BringIt? Now you can. BringIt.com is a community of gamers who take their skills to the next level and play each other for REAL money.
The goal of this contest is to create a 30 or 60 second commercial for BringIt.com. BringIt is looking to appeal to video gamers in all countries, specifically between the ages of 18 and 40. The company is looking for an ad designed to play on either the Web or Broadcast Television. The spot can take a number of different approaches, from the serious to the humorous. For example, your submissions could embrace the competitive spirit, exploit gamer stereotypes, or highlight the feeling of winning cold hard cash. The finished product should include the tag line "BringIt.com, Challenge. Play. Earn." And be Broadcast Quality. For more information about the company and how it works, go to: http://www.bringit.com
PHASE 1: IDEA - In 140 characters or less, tell us your Idea for the commercial. BringIt CEO Woody Levin wants you to help tell him find the best way for his company to brand themselves and encourage people to sign up for the site.
PHASE 2: VIDEO – Select one of the 5 winning Ideas and make a 30 or 60 second ad for BringIt. You can, but do not have to use every bit from the Idea, only the general storyline and theme. Be creative, capture the essence, know the goal, and have fun with it.
PHASE 2A: Prediction- Watch all the Videos and try to Predict which ones will win the contest.
PHASE 2B: Most Viewed – Whichever Videos gets seen the most times online (delivered by Tongal via embed, email or share) within the period of 30 days following the Video submission deadline (on or about January 17, 2010) will win the $500 bonus prize.
