Most Tongal projects are broken down into multiple phases, for example, Ideation and Production. That means writers, directors, actors, and animators can all focus on what they do best. To make it even better, everyone can also get paid to promote winning videos, predict awarded spots and discover new talent.
Ideation phase
You’ll find a brief overview of the brand’s creative strategy, a set of project files and all of the specific details you need to start working on each Project Page. Writers and idea people will love the Ideation Phase. In the allocated number of characters (140, 250 or 500), submit your best idea, concept or story in order to fulfill the project objective. Your work is judged by the client and if it’s a winner, you will be awarded points and compensated for your work. Congratulations, you've got a new portfolio piece and a new client under your belt.
Production Phase
Next up is the production phase, so break out the cameras and go to town. Be sure to check out the details and deliverables on the project page and choose one of the winning pieces of content from the Ideation Phase to base your video on. Once you have a solid entry, submit your work and reap the rewards. Your video will be judged by the client, because this is not a popularity contest. If they like your stuff, you get paid, earn Tongal points and (hope, hope) snag a spot on the Leaderboard. Aside from bragging rights, your wins make you eligible for special gigs, and other site privileges.
